We cater for every type of customer. From complex commercial / industrial needs, small business, environmental and mobile workers, to smaller private home alarm / smoke detection and medical alarm monitoring systems.

Code9 started operation in August 2002 from its current site in Madras Street. Code9 was formed by a working group of 5 all of whom became shareholders & worked in the company in various management roles with one (Warren) having retired in 2016.

Code9 monitors and provides response services for a wide range of customers. Over time our reputation for accurate activation analysis and timely response- when necessary, with guard or Police has resulted in larger organisations such as Schools choosing Code9 to protect their assets.

1999 - Seeing the gap, filling a need.

Code9 started as a result of an increased market need for an independent specialised monitoring company who could deliver an optimum level of monitoring services that catered for individual customer requirements. At the same time two of NZ’s largest corporate providers centralised to the North Island.

2000s - Getting smarter

Code9 introduced "Monitoring with Intelligence" and a campaign for schools to help drive down unnecessary & significant alarm response costs. Code9 introduced a performance guarantee that ensures a timed response to every monitoring event.

2010s - Reinventing CCTV

Code9 introduced video verification to enhance & take its core business alarm monitoring to new levels.

2017 - The digital age.

Code9 introduces a mobile App that allows customers to interrogate their alarm system as well as controlling a number of its functions. Code9 introduces Lone Worker to help protect & support those people who predominantly work alone.
